HGV Class 1 Driver Stroud - Ongoing Work £16.62 per hour | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Until September | Immediate StartsM4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to join one of our well-established clients in Stroud.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the UK's biggest retailers trunking from store to depot.The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:Trunking from store to depotAssisting with unloading alongside an experienced on-site teamMoving equipment on wheels, with no heavy manual lifting requiredCarrying out daily vehicle safety checksCompleting delivery paperwork accuratelyFollowing all transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety proceduresWorking Hours Monday to FridayStart times between 2:00am and 4:00amOccasional Saturday work may be available depending on the event scheduleOngoing work available until SeptemberImmediate starts availablePay £16.62 per hourWeekly payRequirements To be considered, you'll need:A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licenceA valid Driver CPC qualificationA valid Digital Tachograph CardA minimum of 1 years' Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)No more than 9 penalty pointsA good understanding of driver hours and working time regulationsA reliable, professional, and flexible approach to workWhat's on Offer?
