HGV Class 2 Driver

Job description

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our warehouse and distribution team in Bristol.

As one of our drivers, you'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our branch network, ensuring stock is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, offering a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
Complete multi-drop deliveries
Safely load and unload your vehicle
Carry out delivery checks and obtain proof of delivery
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation
Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle
Report any accidents or incidents in line with company procedures
Deliver excellent customer service on every journey

What You'll Need

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Valid Driver CPC.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
A safe, professional driving record.
Ability to carry out manual handling and lift heavy items.
Strong communication and time management skills.
A positive, reliable attitude and team-focused approach.
