Location: Wigan or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £30,000 £32,000 and full benefits package

The role of the Technical Sales Advisor Construction Products & Building Supplies will involve:
Internally based technical sales advisor position selling a distributed range of construction products such as: concrete repair, waterproofing, screeding, joint filling, grouts & anchors, sealants, protective coating etc
The majority of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants such as: Keyline, Travis Perkins, Buildbase and Jewson
The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors
Inheriting circa 115-20 spending accounts that need day to day management
Will have other responsibility for example supporting in the warehouse when needed
Will be expected to generate new business however this will be predominantly with existing accounts
The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Advisor Construction Products & Building Supplies with:
Ideally be in an internal sales, trade counter, customer service role currently in the building trade
Would suit someone working within a merchants / distributors such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Buildbase, Selco etc as a trade counter sales person
Ideally will have strong account management skills
Must be able to build relationships and break down doors
