HGV Class 2 Driver – Erith

Location: Erith, Kent

Pay Rates:

• £17.58 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
• £26.68 per hour after 8 hours

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an ongoing position based in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with regular weekly bookings.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 6:00am
• 10–12 hour shifts
• Ongoing work with regular weekly bookings
• Driving a curtain sider vehicle
• Approximately 8–9 deliveries per day
• Local and regional deliveries to commercial customers
• No manual handling required – all goods are loaded and unloaded by forklift at customer sites
• Pre-planned delivery routes

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only
• No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements
• Good understanding of drivers' hours, working time regulations and road transport legislation
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
