HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Bristol. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team on a temp basis.

Location: Bristol Job Type: Temporary with a potential of ongoing work

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday
04:30am start until around 14:30pm

The Role:

Completing trunking work between the clients hubs
Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back
Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 3 months experience required
Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
Valid CPC and Digi Card
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
