A family-run haulier working out of Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, with a modern, well-kept fleet and we're growing. Our trucks have delivered everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, and we're after another Class 1 driver to help us do it.

The work

• Building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England

• Artics up to 44 tonnes, flatbed and curtainside - plus regular wagon & drag work for those with the experience

• Proper professional haulage - no multi-drop

• Day work, home every night, bar the occasional paid UK night out when the job needs it

• Mostly MondayFriday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime there for those who want it

What you'll need

• Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card

• Ideally wagon & drag experience there's regular drawbar work waiting for it

• A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal too, and paid accordingly and FORS training is a huge plus

• To live within about 30 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) the days can be long enough without a big commute on top

• Comfortable in and around London, and reliable, professional and polite you're the face of Bennetts on every site

• £38,000£42,000 basic depending on experience, plus plenty of overtime we never run short of work

• The right tickets paid accordingly Hiab, Moffett and wagon & drag experience all count

• Paid training kept current: ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, Driver CPC
