HGV Driver

Job description

CDL Recruitment is currently looking for Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for ad-hoc cover for our client, a leading plumbers' merchant based inRochester.

• Complete deliveries to trade customers and merchant branches
• Safe loading, securing and unloading of products
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Previous multi-drop experience is desirable

• Ongoing agency work with a respected national plumbers' merchant
• Weekly pay
