Residential Property Paralegal

Edge Talent is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal

Job description

The firm has a great track record of promotion from within. Lots of Paralegals have progressed into a Solicitor role and you could do the same.

A modern, people-focused law firm in London is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal to join its growing conveyancing team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to do more than just support a caseload: the firm actively encourages its paralegals to take ownership of work, run matters independently, and build a long-term career.

What you'll be doing

You will handle a varied residential conveyancing caseload acting on both purchase and sales. The firm is looking for someone who can manage a sale from instruction through to completion, working with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors with minimal supervision. You will prepare and review contracts, conduct searches, raise and reply to enquiries, manage exchange and completion, and keep clients updated throughout.

What you'll need

  • At least one year of residential conveyancing experience, ideally within a busy property department.
  • A solid understanding of the sale process, with the confidence to manage a file from start to finish.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Ambition, initiative, and self-motivation. You take action, anticipate what needs doing next, and do not need to be chased for progress.

Why this firm?

The firm believes internal development is central to its success. Much of the current team has been built from paralegals and trainees who have progressed internally into more senior roles, and it is keen to invest in people who want to grow. You will be given genuine responsibility early on, with clear support from senior fee earners.

Culture matters here. The firm promotes a healthy work-life balance, strong team bonding, and an environment where people want to stay. Staff turnover is low, and strong performers are retained and supported.

If you are a driven residential conveyancing paralegal looking for a firm that will back your development, this is a great next step.

Hybrid working is standard, you can expect to be in their North London office 3 days a week.

What you’ll need

  • At least 1 years’ experience as a Residential Property Paralegal.
  • Commitment to residential property and legal work.
