One to One PMLD Support Assistant - Huddersfield
Academics are looking for a specialist in PMLD to support children in a specalist school in Huddersfield. They are looking for a One to One PMLD Support Assistant to provide dedicated, therapeutic support for students with complex needs.

The Role of a One to One PMLD Support Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 support for secondary pupils with PMLD
• Support learning, communication, mobility, and sensory engagement
• Assist with individualised routines, therapy programmes, and life skills development
• Help implement IEPs, personalised targets, and care plans
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, families, and external professionals

We're Looking For in a One to One PMLD Support Assistant:

• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex SEN
• A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
• Confidence using specialist communication, sensory, and care strategies
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
