Job description
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a major electrical remedial works programme across Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale utilities programme, carrying out remedial electrical works across commercial and operational sites. The initial contract is 3 months, with the potential to become a rolling contract and potentially lead to a permanent position as further projects are secured.
The Role
As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out remedial electrical works across commercial and operational sites
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults in line with current regulations
- Completing installation, maintenance and minor upgrade works
- Testing, inspecting and certifying completed electrical installations
- Ensuring all works comply with BS 7671 and relevant health & safety requirements
- Travelling between sites across Scotland as required
- Working independently and managing your own workload

You'll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- AM2 qualification
- Approved Electrician status
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable
- Experience carrying out remedial works within commercial, industrial or utilities environments
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently
- Current Basic DBS check or willingness to obtain one
