Role: Architect or Architectural Technician

Location: Scotland, UK

Rate of Pay: £25 - £30 per hour

Contract: 12-month contract

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days office pw)

About the role:

We’re looking for a skilled Architect or Architectural Technician to join our expanding team in Scotland. You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality technical information across, residential, commercial, educational and hospitality. You’ll be producing accurate technical drawings and coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experienced Architectural Technician
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD and Revit, producing detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning applications and construction methods.
• Skilled in coordinating with clients, contractors and consultants to deliver projects on time and to specification, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years’ experience in a UK architectural practice
• Strong proficiency Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Vectorworks
• Solid understanding of Scottish Building Regulations and warrant procedures
• Experience working in residential, commercial, education and hospitality sector
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
