Investment Banking M&A Associate | FIG / Fintech | London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-performing M&A Associate to join a growing FIG team in London.

This is a fantastic chance to work on high-profile M&A transactions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, gaining exceptional exposure across the full deal lifecycle while working closely with senior team members and clients.


The Role

You will play a key role in the execution of complex M&A transactions, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting transaction execution through valuation, financial analysis, due diligence, and client deliverables.
  • Preparing pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations.
  • Conducting sector and company research, including analysis of insurance brokers and other financial institutions.
  • Assisting with origination efforts and supporting internal investment opportunities.
  • Collaborating across the team with early responsibility and strong transaction visibility.
  • Participating in client meetings and helping manage processes through to completion.


About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Around 3 years’ investment banking M&A experience within FIG / Fintech, ideally from an investment bank or advisory boutique.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Strong valuation, financial modelling, and market analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
  • A genuine passion for building relationships and driving impactful outcomes.
