Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,000

About the Role:

EG Group is looking for an experienced Wetstock Analyst to join our Wetstock Management team. In this role, you will provide first and second-line support for Wetstock alarms, investigate complex issues, and play a key role in developing the capability of the wider team.


You will work closely with site operations, retail, and other internal stakeholders, acting as a point of escalation for Wetstock queries and helping to improve how alarm issues are managed across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide first and second-line support for Wetstock alarms, including ATG, SIR, CSLD, and leak detection.
  • Investigate complex or unresolved alarm issues escalated from other team members.
  • Train and upskill colleagues on alarm triage, Wetstock principles, and relevant tools.
  • Help define, document, and continuously improve alarm handling processes and escalation criteria.
  • Act as a key contact for Wetstock queries from site operations, retail, and other internal teams.
  • Identify recurring alarm trends and support root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Represent the Wetstock team in cross-functional meetings and discussions.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years' experience in Wetstock management, fuel retail operations, or a similar technical analyst role.
  • Strong working knowledge of fuel monitoring systems and alarm types, including ATG, SIR, CSLD, and leak detection.
  • Previous experience training, coaching, or mentoring colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence managing stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to investigating issues.
  • Comfortable documenting processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
