A leading accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Employment Tax Manager and Senior Manager to join its growing team. This newly created role offers the chance to work on a diverse and interesting client base, including sectors such as media, financial services, and more.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality employment tax advice and supporting the development of a wider people services offering. Working closely with senior leadership, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make an impact and progress their career within a fast-growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on all aspects of employment taxes, including employment status, PAYE obligations, NIC, expenses and benefits, and remuneration planning
- Draft complex tax advice and stay up to date with legislation and regulations
- Undertake PAYE health checks and assist with HMRC enquiries
- Advise on compliance processes such as P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements, and Short-Term Business Visitor reporting
- Handle overseas tax queries in collaboration with international partners
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Provide technical input to payroll, HR consulting, and global mobility teams
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives
About You
- Strong technical knowledge of employment tax legislation
- Experience advising clients on PAYE, benefits, and compliance matters
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
