Transaction Management Executive – Client Side Real Estate

Madison Berkeley is looking for a Transaction Management Executive – Client Side Real Estate

Job description

  • Transaction Management Executive – Client Side Real Estate
  • Location: Central London
  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits
  • Sector: Commercial Real Estate / Property Investment

The Opportunity

A fast-growing private real estate investment business is looking to appoint a Transaction Management Executive into its Central London team.

This is much broader than a traditional property administration role.

Sitting closely alongside the Asset Management and Property Management teams, you'll gain exposure across the full lifecycle of a commercial property, from acquisition and onboarding through to lease events, ongoing management and disposal.

The role would suit someone with a good grounding in commercial property who enjoys the detail of transactions but wants greater exposure to the commercial side of an investment business.

There is also potential to broaden the role and take on additional responsibility depending on experience.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding of new acquisitions and disposals
  • New property and tenancy set-up
  • Managing new leases and lease documentation
  • Lease renewals, assignments, licences and rent reviews
  • Maintaining tenancy and transaction trackers
  • Liaising with Asset Managers, Property Managers and solicitors
  • Managing property information and supporting acquisition due diligence
  • Preparing Property Management information packs
  • Supporting service charge and property data requirements
  • Coordinating with internal accounting, tenant administration and insurance teams
  • Ensuring property and tenancy information is accurately maintained across internal systems

What We're Looking For. Property knowledge is key.

You'll ideally have 2–4 years' experience within commercial real estate, potentially from:

  • Property Management
  • Assistant Surveying
  • Asset Management support
  • Lease administration / lease events
  • Transaction management
  • Property or acquisition onboarding

You'll need to be:

  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of property and leases
  • Organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Proactive and happy taking ownership
  • Confident dealing with different internal and external stakeholders
  • Personable, positive and able to work within a fast-moving environment

This could particularly suit someone currently within a larger managing agent or consultancy who wants to move client-side and gain much closer exposure to acquisitions, Asset Management and investment decision-making.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000, with some potential flexibility depending on experience.
