Head of IT Delivery

We're looking for an experienced IT leaderto join usasHead of ITDelivery.You'llbringstrongexperienceof delivering technology change and leading operational support teams.

As Head of IT Delivery, you'll lead the successful delivery of technology initiatives and the ongoing management of critical business systems, with an initial focus on our Salesforce ecosystem and the technology capabilities that support fundraising, membership and supporter engagement.

You'lllead delivery through a combination of internal teams,contractorsandsuppliers, ensuring projects are delivered successfully whilstmaintainingreliable, operational services.

For this,werelyonourSalesforceEcosystem, including SalesforceCore (Service Cloud withNonprofitSuccessPack),Agentforce,Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data360and other components,such asdata andAIformembership management,fundraisingand engagement of our supporters. Our strategicobjectiveswill see us extending the use of these core platformsin the coming years.

Yourcontractual locationwill beourhead office inSwindonandyou areexpectedtoattend the officefor 40-60% ofyourworkingweek.Thereis flexibility on where you are based at other times.This will be discussed inmore detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to theITTechnologyDirector,you'llbe part ofourITSenior Leadership Team.

You'lllead a portfolio of technology projects and enhancements, ensuring agreed outcomes and business benefits are delivered.Managing theNT IT SalesforceTeamand key suppliers,you'llbe responsible forthe operation,supportand continual improvement of our platforms, while driving the adoption of agile delivery practices to help teams work more collaboratively with a stronger customer focus.

You'llensure effective governance, risk management, planning and reporting across the delivery portfolio, and lead, develop and support multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive, high-performing culture.

As part of the wider IT leadership team,you'llhelp shape future delivery capabilities across the organisation and act as a senior escalation point for delivery, operational, supplier and stakeholder issues.Youwillworkwith ourenterprise and solution architectstotranslate ourbusinessneedintowell prioritisedtechnical deliverables.Using your experience of embedding agile ways of working,you'llbuild strong relationships with business leaders,suppliersand colleagues across the organisation, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver continuous value whilemaintainingcritical business platforms.

Who we're looking for

You’llbring a broad range of the following knowledge,skillsand experience, shaped bydifferent roles, sectors or career paths, and the judgment to apply them effectively at scale;

• Well-developed leadership skills with experience of developing diverse teams and creating an inclusive culture where different perspectives are valued.
• Proven experience leading the delivery of complex technology programmes,portfoliosor products.
• Experience managing operational support teams and live business-critical platforms.
• Experience ofintroducing andembeddingagile delivery approaches within teams and organisations.
• Experience working with Salesforce platforms or equivalent enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management,communicationandinfluencingskillswith the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
• Strong understanding of risk management,governanceand delivery assurance.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery leadership.
