Class 1 Cargo Operative Drivers Wanted

We are currently recruiting Class 1 Cargo Operative Drivers to join our growing logistics team in Hounslow. This role is ideal for skilled, safety-focused drivers who take pride in delivering reliable and efficient service.

Pay Rates

• HGV 1 Days: £19.00

• HGV 1 Nights: £20.00

• HGV 1 Saturday: £21.00

• HGV 1 Sunday: £22.00

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for cargo transport

• Ensure timely and accurate collection and delivery of goods

• Complete all relevant documentation and follow operational procedures

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• 1 year minimum Class 1 driving experience

• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous cargo handling or airside/warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow safety policies and operational guidelines

Compliance Requirements

In line with CAA regulations, you may be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:

• Basic UK criminal record check

• Overseas criminal record check for any period of 6+ months outside the UK

• Full 5-year history - employment, unemployment, education, or other
