CDS Labour are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing and distribution business based in Roche, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver.

This is a varied role offering long-term work with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The Role

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading products.
• Moving stock and materials between production and dispatch areas.
• Supporting production when required.
• Heavy manual handling as part of daily duties.
• Cold food production and warehouse environment.
• Full PPE provided/required (safety boots, gloves, coat, etc.).
• Typical shifts are 6:00am 4:00pm

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Experience with stock control, paperwork or dispatch operations.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and work in a cold environment

Desirable:

• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred for combined FLT/Van Driver role).
• Previous experience within food production, warehouse or distribution.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different departments.
