365 People are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their established team in Leicester.

\n

Our client specialises in steel, fabrication and specialist projects, with work ranging from steel and plant deliveries to bespoke signage and structures for football stadiums and major sites. Its a varied role where youll be delivering interesting products to a range of locations rather than doing the same run every day.

The Role

\n

Youll be responsible for safely delivering and collecting a range of materials, equipment and specialist products while representing the company professionally.

\n

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.

\n

• Deliver steel, fabrication materials and specialist signage.

\n

• Deliver to customer, construction and stadium sites.

\n

• Secure loads correctly using chains, straps and appropriate restraint equipment.

\n

• Complete daily vehicle checks and required paperwork.

\n

• Work closely with the transport and yard teams.

\n

• Assist in the yard when required.

\n

• Provide a professional service to customers at every delivery.

\n\n

What Were Looking For

\n

\n
• Full UK Class 2 (C) licence.

\n

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

\n

• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.

\n

• Experience with steel, heavy materials, plant or machinery is advantageous.

\n

• Good knowledge of load security and drivers hours.

\n

• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.

\n

• Good communication skills.

\n

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

\n\n

Hours & Pay

\n

£16.00 per hour

\n

MondayFriday | 7:00am5:00pm

\n

Some early starts may be required depending on delivery schedules, so flexibility is essential.

\n
