A family-run haulier working out of Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, with a modern, well-kept fleet and we're growing. Our trucks have delivered everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, and we're after another Class 1 driver to help us do it.

The work

\n \n

\n
• \n Building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England

\n

• \n Artics up to 44 tonnes, flatbed and curtainside - plus regular wagon & drag work for those with the experience

\n

• \n Proper professional haulage - no multi-drop

\n

• \n Day work, home every night, bar the occasional paid UK night out when the job needs it

\n

• \n Mostly MondayFriday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime there for those who want it

\n\n \n

What you'll need

\n \n

\n
• \n Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card

\n

• \n Ideally wagon & drag experience there's regular drawbar work waiting for it

\n

• \n A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal too, and paid accordingly and FORS training is a huge plus

\n

• \n To live within about 30 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) the days can be long enough without a big commute on top

\n

• \n Comfortable in and around London, and reliable, professional and polite you're the face of Bennetts on every site

\n\n \n

• \n The right tickets paid accordingly Hiab, Moffett and wagon & drag experience all count

\n

• \n Paid training kept current: ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, Driver CPC
