Location: Gloucester Pay: £14.50 to £15 per hour DoE Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 8 hours paid per shift Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking 7.5T Driver to join our client based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Working Hours Monday to Friday
Start time around 6:00am
Typically 10-hour shifts, although finish times may vary depending on the route
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
45-minute unpaid break each day
The Role Driving a company van to complete deliveries across designated routes
Approximately 10 drops per day
Loading your own vehicle before departure
Manual handling and lifting of goods as part of daily duties
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally
Requirements Experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Valid CPC and Tacho card
Maximum of 6 penalty points (depending on offence code)
Physically fit and capable of manual handling due to the nature of the role
Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
What's On Offer? £14.50 to £15 per hour depending on experience
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
Ongoing work with a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity
Weekly pay for the first 12 weeks
Monthly pay once taken on permanently
Monday to Friday work no weekends
