About The RoleTEP is seeking a highly motivated individual, either recently graduated or with some industry experience in landscape and estates management; health and safety management; contract and grounds maintenance experience; and property and facilities management, to join the TEP Land Management team in the Warrington or Gateshead office.

What Youll Be DoingOur Land Management Team play a critical role in TEPs overall delivery of the Homes England Non-Commercial Property Management Framework.

• Undertake site inspections across a diverse portfolio of Homes England landholdings, including greenfield, woodland, and vacant properties;
• Identify, assess and record hazards, encroachments, fly-tipping, vandalism and other estate management issues;
• Identify, monitor and recommend treatment for invasive non-native species;
• Capture site data and maintain accurate records using TEPs bespoke estate management software;
• Monitor the condition of site assets, including fencing, gates and signage, and recommend necessary actions;
• Procure, coordinate and monitor maintenance and remedial works arising from site inspections;
• Liaise with a variety of stakeholders which include clients, contractors, adjacent landowners.
• Support the management of contractors and help ensure works are delivered safely and to the required standards; and
• Potential opportunities to contribute to land management plans and identify opportunities on-site.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to sites and on occasion staying overnight at different locations (as required), to meet the requirements of projects.
What We Are Looking For

A degree in a Landscape or Environmental field is preferred, but experience will be considered;

• An understanding of landscape management through studies or experience.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, including lone working when required.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience using GIS and GIS Databases are desirable. Training in this area will be provided.
• UK driving licence.
