Working with Children and Adolescents

We are urgently recruiting experienced Residential Childrens Support Workers for agency shifts across Newhaven and the surrounding Sussex area.

If you have previous experience working in social care and are confident supporting adolescents in a residential setting, we want to hear from you!

THE ROLE

Youll be supporting young people with:

Day-to-day care and routines
Emotional wellbeing and development
Positive behaviour support
Activities, independence and life skills
Safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment
Challenging situations and behaviours
Building positive and trusting relationships

WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Previous social care experience essential
Experience working with children/young people desirable
Reliable, professional and resilient
Confident managing challenging situations
Available for day shifts, night shifts or both
