Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Corby NN17 , this will be trunking work.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses
• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
• no handball, this is a nice haulage role
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Strapping and Reversing competence
• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver: 6AM -7AM

• Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
• PAYE Pay rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
