Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver for ongoing supply work with a well-established logistics client based in Darlington . This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible, ongoing work with the potential for long-term assignments.Working as part of a two-person delivery team , you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of furniture directly to customers homes, while delivering excellent customer service.The Role for a Class 2 Driver: Multi-drop deliveries of furniture to residential customersWorking alongside a drivers mateProviding a professional and friendly service at each delivery pointEnsuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficientlyAdhering to all driving laws, company policies, and health & safety proceduresShifts & Schedule for a Class 2 Driver: Monday to Saturday availabilityMinimum 3 shifts per weekStart times between 01:00am 05:00amMixture of overnight work and long-distance runsRequirements for a Class 2 Driver: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licenceDriver CPC and Digital Tachograph cardPrevious multi-drop or delivery experience preferredGood level of physical fitness (heavy lifting involved)Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approachPositive, customer-focused attitudePay & Benefits: £15.13 £16.15 per hour (PAYE)Weekly pay through Driver HireFlexible supply work with consistent shifts availableOpportunity to secure a permanent role with the clientIf youre a reliable Class 2 driver looking for flexible work in the Darlington area, wed love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
