TLP Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join one of our well-established clients. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for long-term, stable work.

This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, moving heavy loads and vehicles around the yard, and supporting the warehouse and yard operations.

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am 5:00pm (47.5 hours per week)

The Role

• Safely unload lorries and move vehicles around the yard
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Operate a Multi-Directional/Combi Forklift (where required)
• Locate and move vehicles within a 5-car racking system
• Carry out daily equipment and vehicle safety checks
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Report any defects, hazards or safety concerns promptly
• Support the wider team with daily operational tasks

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential
• Experience operating a Multi-Directional or Combi Forklift (licence preferred)
• Experience moving heavy loads
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive and reliable attitude
• Commitment to Health & Safety
• Ability to work well within a busy team
