HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – TRUNKING AND STORE DELIVERY – Coatbridge

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Coatbridge and the surrounding areas.

\n

Earn £15.58 - £20.73 per hour | Monday to Friday | Saturday Work Available | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available | Full Training Provided

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential and long-term progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Rigid Driver, Store Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts

\n

  • Monday to Friday
\n   • Saturday Work Available

Rates of Pay

\n

  • £15.58 - £20.73 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

\n

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

\n

  • Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to customer and delivery locations
\n   • Completing trunking and store deliveries safely and efficiently
\n   • Loading and unloading vehicles with care and accuracy
\n   • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
\n   • Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time
\n   • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations
\n   • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
\n   • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service throughout each shift

\n

Essential Skills

\n

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

\n

  • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
\n   • A valid UK CPC Qualification Card
\n   • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n   • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements)
\n   • A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
\n   • Good communication and customer service skills
\n   • A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance
\n   • The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate

\n

Desirable Experience

\n

  • Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
\n   • Previous trunking or store delivery experience
\n   • Multi-drop delivery experience
\n   • Experience handling large or bulky goods
\n   • Strong customer-facing delivery experience

\n

Training Provided

\n

  • Full industry-related training provided
\n   • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
