We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading national food distribution company based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for ongoing work with flexible shift patterns and competitive rates of pay.

\nThe Role\n

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering chilled, frozen and ambient products to distribution centres, retail outlets and other customer locations. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule while maintaining high standards of customer service.

\n

The role will primarily involve trunking and store deliveries, with routes varying depending on operational requirements.

Duties Include\n

\n
• \n Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently

\n

• \n Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

\n

• \n Ensuring loads are secure and transported in line with company procedures

\n

• \n Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required

\n

• \n Adhering to all UK driving hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations

\n

• \n Maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times

\nRequirements\n

\n
• \n Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

\n

• \n Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

\n

• \n Valid Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• \n Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred

\n

• \n Good knowledge of UK driving legislation and tachograph regulations

\n

• \n Flexible approach to working a variety of shifts, including weekends

\n

• \n Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
