HGV Class 1 Night Driver

HGV Class 1 Night Driver Sunday to Thursday £17.50 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Wednesfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing, full-time night work with a consistent shift pattern.

Working Hours

• Sunday to Thursday

• 6:00pm starts

• Ongoing night shifts

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for completing trunking and distribution work, transporting goods safely and efficiently between manufacturing sites, distribution centres and customer locations.

You will carry out daily vehicle safety checks, ensure all loads are secure, comply with UK driving legislation, and complete all delivery documentation accurately. This role is primarily driving-focused with minimal manual handling.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is preferred

• Good understanding of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations

• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

• Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
