SEMH Learning Support Assistant, South Shields

Location: South Shields

Hours: 32 hours per week

Pay: £14.55 per hour

Duration: Term time only, Academic year

Were looking for a SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join an education setting in South Shields, supporting young adult learners.

The role will involve supporting young adults with a range of additional needs, helping them develop their life skills, functional skills, confidence and independence within an education environment.

Were looking for someone who

Has experience working with SEN needs
Is confident supporting learners with diverse and complex needs
Has experience working within an education setting
Is patient, understanding and adaptable
Can build positive relationships with young adults
Has a good sense of humour
Most importantly, has heaps of patience
