Overview

We are actively seeking a HGV2 Delivery Driver on behalf of client to join their logistics team. This role involves operating heavy goods vehicles to deliver a variety of goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and adhering strictly to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV2 vehicles across designated routes to deliver goods promptly.

\n

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

\n

• Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.

\n

• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery notes and manifests.

\n

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

\n

• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations.

\n\n

Skills

\n

\n
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with HGV2 or similar commercial vehicles.

\n

• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards related to commercial driving.

\n

• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.

\n

• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo safely.

\n

• Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

\n

• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

\n\n

Normally start times between 4am- 7am Monday to Friday.

\n

This is a temp to perm opportunity with an immediate start.
