Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist (Hospitality)

Network - Career Consultants is looking for a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist (Hospitality)

Job description

We are representing an award-winning interior design practice specialising in immersive, high-quality spaces across the hotel, hospitality and commercial sectors. The studio takes a holistic approach to design, creating sensory-rich environments that enhance how people experience and interact with a space.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician or Technologist to help translate ambitious design concepts into technically robust, buildable solutions. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in London, with some flexibility to work from home (2 days).

The successful candidate will prepare and coordinate technical and construction drawings, develop CAD models and work closely with architects, designers, consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet design intent, building regulations and programme requirements. You will also contribute to technical reviews, quality control and the development of documentation standards, while supporting and mentoring junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Architecture or Architectural Technology, with experience delivering complex projects from concept through construction. Strong technical drawing and detailing skills are essential, alongside advanced CAD experience. Knowledge of BIM and Revit is highly desirable, as is experience working on complex hotel or hospitality projects.

A thorough understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, materials and detailing is required, together with excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

This is a great opportunity for a technically strong Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist who enjoys working within a creative, design-led environment and wants to contribute to high-quality hospitality and experiential projects.
