Senior Support Worker Physical & Learning Disabilities - Hedge End, SouthamptonThe Laurels, Hedge End, Southampton (SO30) - Permanent £14.10 per hour - 42 hour contractAre you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Dolphin Homes is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team at The Laurels , our residential service in Hedge End, Southampton , supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities.What Will You Be Doing? As a Senior Support Worker at The Laurels, you will not only provide direct, hands-on support to the individuals we care for, but also play a key leadership role within the team. No two days are the same, and your contribution will be felt by both the people we support and the colleagues you help to guide.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Providing personal care and supporting daily routinesCoordinating and contributing to individual care plansMentoring and supporting newer members of the care teamEnsuring the smooth running of the service day to dayActing as the key link between the care team and managementAssisting with dietary plans and individual needsTeaching life skills to promote independenceSupporting individuals within the local Hedge End and Southampton communityAccompanying service users on activities and outingsAnd the activities are genuinely something special:Theme parks, Swimming, Horse riding, Cinema, UK and abroad holidays, Arts and crafts, Concerts, Cycling, Baking and much more!Why Dolphin Homes?
