I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a retailer based in Leeds.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

Working collaboratively with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections.
Planning & preparing WSSI proposals for each department by season for all markets.
Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved
Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries
Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly
Monitoring key market & competitor activity

Key requirement for the role;

Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment, at a Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser title.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
Commercially aware and business focussed.
Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
