The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Anaesthetics SPRs to support services in the North East.
This opportunity offers a range of locum shifts across Intensive Care (ITU), Theatres, and Obstetric Anaesthetics, providing flexible working arrangements within a busy acute hospital environment. It is well suited to candidates with experience in Anaesthetics and Critical Care who are confident working in fast-paced clinical settings while maintaining high standards of patient care.
You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide anaesthetic support across theatre, ITU, and obstetric services as required
- Deliver safe and effective patient care within an acute hospital setting
- Support day-to-day clinical operations and service delivery
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams, and wider multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards and local procedures
- Identify and elevate clinical concerns appropriately
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment
What We're Looking For
- Active GMC registration
- Relevant recent UK NHS experience in Anaesthetics
- Experience working within ITU and theatre environments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
- Fully compliant documentation available at submission stage
- Candidates must be fully available for any shifts they are submitted for
