Private Client Solicitor - Head of Office | Legal 500

Location: Worthing - hybrid

Salary: £90-110,000

Experience: 6PQE+

OVERVIEW

Join a reputable Legal 500 with a highly regarded Private Client team. The practice is known for handling high-quality work for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters including wills, LPAs, probate, trusts, estate administration, Court of Protection and estate planning.
• Advising HNW individuals, families, elderly and vulnerable clients on complex private client matters.
• Building strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional advisers.
• Managing matters with autonomy while contributing to the wider team’s success.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
• Contributing to business development, networking and the continued growth of the department.

ABOUT YOU

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ PQE in private client work.
• Strong technical experience across wills, trusts, probate, estate planning and inheritance tax.
• Experience advising HNW clients and managing complex estates.
• STEP qualification (or working towards) desirable.
• Strong client care, communication and leadership skills.
• A collaborative approach with an interest in developing your career, with potential progression towards partnership.
