Start Date - ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Digital Programme Manager to deliver a global digital transformation and take hands-on ownership of a major £25m global digital transformation programme who has ideally worked within the education technology sector.

You will coordinate delivery across approximately 11 technical squads, including Product, UI, Content, Data and Architecture, ensuring multiple workstreams come together against a clear and controlled programme plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex £25m digital transformation programme.
  • Coordinate approximately 11 technical and product squads.
  • Own the integrated programme plan, milestones, dependencies and critical path.
  • Manage programme budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Establish strong governance, RAID management and programme controls.
  • Manage senior stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Facilitate face-to-face workshops and drive key programme decisions.
  • Track delivery closely and provide clear visibility of progress, risks and blockers.
  • Support the consolidation of multiple products and systems into one scalable digital ecosystem.
  • Support the adoption of AI and Agentic AI across digital products and programme delivery.

Experience Required

  • Proven delivery of large-scale, multi-million-pound digital programmes.
  • Strong hands-on Programme Director / Programme Manager experience.
  • Excellent budget, financial, governance and programme control capability.
  • Experience managing multiple technical squads and complex workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management within large, global or matrix organisations.
  • Experience delivering consumer-facing digital products or platforms.
  • Good technical understanding across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data and UX/UI.
  • Experience consolidating multiple products or platforms is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Generative AI / Agentic AI would be beneficial.
