Job description

Merchandiser - Marketplaces & D2C
Competitive Salary (£40k-£50k) + Benefits | West Yorkshire | Hybrid Working (3/2) & Flexi Hours
The Company
Our client is a fast-growing lifestyle business operating multiple brands across wholesale, marketplace and D2C channels. With strong backing and continued investment, they've built partnerships with the leading marketplaces across the UK and Europe. This is a business that moves quickly, backs its people, and has little time for red tape - decisions get made and things get done.
The Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Merchandiser to join the team, focused on driving performance across marketplace and D2C channels. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit back and analyse from a distance - it's for a merchandiser who wants to trade, plan, and get stuck in.
As the Merchandiser you'll take real ownership of your categories, working closely with product, marketing and the wider commercial team to maximise sales and profitability across a fast-moving multi-brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the trading and planning of product across marketplace and D2C channels

Analyse sales performance and react quickly to trends, driving commercial decisions

Manage stock levels, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time

Build and maintain strong critical paths, working closely with buying and supply chain

Identify opportunities to maximise sales through pricing, promotions and range planning

Work closely with marketplace partners to optimise listings, visibility and performance

Report on and present trading performance, with clear, commercial recommendations

About You:
Proven merchandising experience, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-brand or multi-channel environment

Strong trading instincts - you know how to read the numbers and act on them

Experience across marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.) and/or D2C is highly desirable

Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving business without layers of process

A self-starter who takes ownership and isn't precious about rolling your sleeves up

Commercially sharp, analytical, and quick to spot opportunities

Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels

Why Apply
This is a genuine opportunity to join a growing, well-invested business at pace - with real autonomy, no bureaucracy, and a clear path to grow as the company grows. If you're tired of red tape and want a role where your decisions actually make an impact, this could be the one.
