HGV Class 1 Driver (Days & Nights)

Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced and dependable HGV Class 1 Drivers for a range of ongoing opportunities with some of the North East's leading logistics, distribution, and transport companies. Whether you prefer days, nights, trunking, or RDC work, we have assignments to suit you.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday Days: £16.00 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights: £17.00 per hour
Saturday: £18.00 per hour
Sunday: £20.00 per hour
Overtime Available

The Role

Work across a variety of contracts including trunking, RDC deliveries, general haulage, and depot-to-depot runs. With a choice of day and night shifts, you'll enjoy consistent work, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to gain experience with respected transport operators across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
Carry out trunking and depot-to-depot runs
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Complete delivery documentation accurately
Maintain excellent customer service standards
Adhere to driver hours, WTD regulations, and company procedures
Follow all health & safety requirements at client sites

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Previous Class 1 experience preferred, but newly qualified drivers may be considered
