About the Company


FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Project Manager.


About the Role


Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow. There are 3 roles available - PM Experienced or PM Senior or Associate Director PM


Responsibilities


  • Manage construction and property projects from feasibility through to completion and handover.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and wider stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
  • Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and Directors.
  • Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Support procurement, contract administration and project governance.
  • Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.


Qualifications


  • Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline.


Required Skills


  • Experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration.
  • Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
  • Membership of RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE would be beneficial, although professional-development support is available.
