About the Role:

A leading financial services client of ours is seeking a highly skilled Regulated Funds/Asset Management Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex fund structures, advising on the legal and regulatory aspects of investment funds, and collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on the structuring, establishment, and ongoing operation of investment funds, including UCITS, AIF and other regulated fund vehicles.
• Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, including prospectuses, investment management agreements, distribution agreements, and regulatory disclosures.
• Providing strategic legal advice on fund governance, investor relations, and regulatory developments.
• Liaising with regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies to stay ahead of market trends and legal developments.
• Supporting internal teams on fund-related matters, including tax, compliance, and risk management.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 2-7+ years of post-qualification experience in investment funds, financial services, or asset management law.
• Strong understanding of Lux/French UCITS products, AIFs etc.
• Experience advising on regulatory matters affecting retail funds, including MiFID, PRIIPs, and SFDR.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

*Candidates outside of the specified PQE bracket with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
