Job description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Conveyancer/Solicitor to join our clients Residential Property team. You will manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients throughout the buying, selling, re-mortgage and transfer of equity process. You will be responsible for protecting clients’ interests, ensuring legal obligations are met and delivering an excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, from instruction through to completion.
- Provide clear and professional legal advice on matters including contracts, source of funds, gift deposits, searches, titles, leases, mortgages and associated enquiries.
- Handle all stages of the transaction, including issuing contracts, mortgage redemptions, exchange of contracts and completion.
- Review and report on searches, titles, leases, mortgages and management packs across both new-build and second-hand transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers, delivering a high level of service and supporting the growth of the business.
Qualifications
- Proven residential conveyancing experience with responsibility for managing and progressing your own caseload.
- Strong knowledge of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing pressure, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering excellent client service and maintaining high professional standards.
