Quantity Surveyor | Residential Developer

London | £60,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance

Curated Search is exclusively partnering with a well established residential developer to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor for a significant RC frame residential development in London.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major live scheme and play a central role in its commercial delivery. Working closely with senior commercial and technical teams, you will be involved from procurement through to final account, with genuine responsibility and visibility across the project lifecycle.

The role

You will lead the commercial management of a substantial RC frame residential development, overseeing procurement, cost control, valuations, variations, and financial reporting while ensuring strong commercial performance throughout the project.

Key responsibilities

• Leading subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and negotiations
• Preparing and issuing subcontract packages, contracts, and orders under JCT forms
• Managing valuations, variations, change control, and payment processes
• Producing CVRs, cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Driving cost control, value engineering, and risk management
• Maintaining commercial documentation and reporting
• Supporting final accounts and subcontractor account agreements

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor within residential construction
• Essential experience on RC frame residential developments
• Strong subcontract procurement and commercial management experience
• Experience managing valuations, variations, CVRs, and final accounts
• Good understanding of JCT contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and financial reporting skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
