Job description

We're working with an award winning architecture and interior design studio who are looking to hire a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join its London team.


Working across a portfolio of beautifully crafted hospitality and lifestyle projects, you'll take a leading role in the technical delivery of complex schemes from concept through to completion. Collaborating closely with Directors, interior designers, consultants and contractors, you'll help transform ambitious design concepts into exceptional built environments.


This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong architect or technologist who enjoys leading projects, mentoring others and delivering beautifully detailed work within a collaborative, design led studio.


The Role

Working closely with the Directors and wider design team, you'll lead the technical development and coordination of multiple projects across all stages.


You'll be responsible for producing and overseeing high quality technical information, coordinating consultants and contractors, maintaining design integrity throughout delivery and ensuring projects are delivered on programme and to the highest technical standard.

Alongside project delivery, you'll mentor junior team members, contribute to technical best practice and help shape the continued development of the studio's technical standards and processes.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of hospitality, hotel and interior architecture projects from concept through to completion
  • Produce and coordinate high quality Revit models, technical drawing packages and construction information
  • Lead Stage 3 and Stage 4 technical delivery across multiple live projects
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Manage technical reviews and resolve coordination challenges throughout project delivery
  • Lead site meetings, manage RFIs and support projects through construction and handover
  • Mentor and support junior architects and technologists
  • Work closely with Directors to maintain high technical standards across the studio
  • Contribute to the continual development of technical standards, workflows and best practice


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist within a UK architecture or interior architecture practice
  • Strong experience delivering hospitality, hotel or design-led commercial interior projects
  • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
  • Strong Revit skills are essential
  • Experience leading projects through RIBA Stages 3 - 5
  • Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and technical delivery
  • Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative approach with a genuine passion for beautifully detailed, technically well-resolved projects
