.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join their expanding team

.The Rol

eAs Design Manager, you will take responsibility for coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring all design information is delivered on programme and to the highest quality

.Working closely with clients, consultants, architects and project delivery teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a variety of construction projects

.Key Responsibilitie

• sManage and coordinate the design process across multiple projects
• .Review drawings, specifications and technical information
• .Liaise with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors
• .Chair design team meetings and manage design programmes
• .Resolve design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
• .Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and project requirements
• .Support the pre-construction and operational teams during project delivery
• .Monitor design progress and ensure key project milestones are achieved

.Requirement

• sPrevious experience as a Design Manager within a main contractor environment
• .Experience delivering design & build construction projects
• .Strong technical construction knowledge
• .Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• .Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• .Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
• .Full UK Driving Licence
