ROLE OVERVIEW

Working across The Production Factory and M&S, you will be responsible for delivering seamless still-life styling across home and fashion that meets commercial guidelines and upholds the core M&S brand identity. As part of our in-house styling team, you will focus on creating high-quality flat lay imagery for e-commerce, with some opportunity to branch out into more creative still-life shoots.


We are seeking a confident and creative individual with a strong eye for detail. This is an excellent junior opportunity and an ideal introduction to our six-person styling team.


Please note: due to the nature of our business, this role is studio-based 5 days per week.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-     Responsible for styling across hanging, mannequin, and tabletop sets, with a primary focus on flat lay and occasional creative still life projects

-     Work across all product categories for M&S, including home and fashion  

-     Maintain a strong attention to detail in all aspects of styling

-     Collaborate closely with the in-house Photography and Art Direction team and a network of trusted freelancers

-     Consistently uphold high visual standards and adhere to client guidelines on every shoot

-     Support the wider styling team as needed

-     Deliver work in line with briefs, to shot count and to our high quality expectations

-     Confidently participate in meetings and communicate effectively with clients and the wider in-house team

-     Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements to enhance workflow efficiency

-     Thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce studio environment; experience in creative still life is advantageous

-     Maintain styling kit bags and contribute to the upkeep of the studio space


SKILLS

-     Proven experience in styling across home and fashion within an e-commerce studio environment.

-     Strong understanding of image standards, brand guidelines, and style direction

-     Versatility in styling a broad range of product categories. Experience within homeware would be a desired bonus.

-     Good knowledge of photography and post-production processes

-     Experience in creative still life is a plus


We would look to do a test shoot day for anyone successful in the interview stages.
