Elite Personnel is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Birmingham for an experienced People Partner.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional to join a collaborative People team where you’ll play a key role in supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations, drive people initiatives, contribute to strategic projects, and help create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The Role
As People Partner, you’ll work closely with the People Team Manager and wider HR team to deliver a professional, solutions-focused HR service. You’ll partner with managers across the organisation, providing practical guidance on complex people matters while supporting organisational objectives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and organisational change.
- Manage a varied employee relations caseload, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures to reflect best practice and legislative changes.
- Support managers with attendance management, including long-term sickness cases and occupational health referrals.
- Produce and analyse HR metrics and reports to support business decisions and identify trends.
- Coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives and contribute to engagement activities.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback and identify opportunities to improve employee retention.
- Assist with recruitment activities when required.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops and induction programmes for managers and employees.
- Support strategic HR projects and contribute to the ongoing development of the People function.
