Quest Employment are recruiting for experienced HLOP Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to work for our client based in the DE24 area.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient execution of day-to-day warehouse activities, supporting operational performance and customer service within a busy warehouse environment.

Please note: Initial training will take place in the DE74 area before moving to the permanent site in DE24.

Shift Patterns

We are recruiting across the following shifts:

• Mornings: 06:00 - 14:00
• Days: 14:00 - 22:00
• Nights: 22:00 - 06:00

Working patterns may include:

• Monday-Friday
• Tuesday-Saturday
• Sunday-Thursday

Specific shift and working pattern will be confirmed during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HLOP trucks in line with training, certification and site procedures
• Complete daily pre-use checks and report any defects or safety concerns
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including PPE and safe working practices
• Safely operate at height within racking systems
• Move, replenish, retrieve and store stock accurately within very narrow aisle racking
• Ensure stock is correctly located and recorded using warehouse systems
• Use WMS/RF systems accurately
• Support picking, replenishment, loading, unloading and general warehouse duties when required
• Work flexibly across HLOP and other warehouse activities
• Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy
• Report stock discrepancies, damages or operational issues promptly
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors
• Maintain a strong safety-first approach at all times
• Support improvements to warehouse safety, efficiency and processes

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous experience operating HLOP trucks in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Valid HLOP licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) or willingness to be trained
• Experience using WMS/RF systems is advantageous
• Experience with other MHE equipment is an advantage
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Comfortable working at height within racking systems
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work safely and accurately in a busy warehouse environment
