We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join a friendly school in Worthing, working on a term-time only basis-perfect for those seeking a great work-life balance.

The Role

As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school kitchen and dining service. Duties include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• Washing up and general kitchen duties
• Providing a friendly and efficient service at all times

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• School hours (typically between 10:00am - 2:00pm)
• Term time only (no weekends or school holidays)

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check (essential - or willingness to obtain one)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Previous catering or food service experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
