We're excited to be partnering with a confidential, industry-leading organisation to appoint an experienced UK Sustainability Lead. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of sustainability strategy across a diverse portfolio of complex, high-profile major construction and infrastructure projects.

This is far more than a compliance-focused position. You'll be at the forefront of driving meaningful ESG change, leading a team of sustainability specialists, influencing senior stakeholders, and embedding innovative, measurable sustainability practices across every stage of project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading Sustainability Strategy - Develop and deliver ambitious sustainability strategies across a diverse national project portfolio.
• Driving ESG Excellence - Embed ESG principles throughout design, procurement and construction, ensuring sustainability is integrated from concept through to completion.
• Inspiring & Developing Teams - Lead, mentor and grow a team of sustainability professionals while creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Influencing Key Stakeholders - Collaborate with clients, consultants, regulators and supply chain partners to align sustainability goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Championing Innovation - Introduce forward-thinking approaches, technologies and sustainable construction methodologies that create measurable impact.

• An Experienced Sustainability Leader - Someone with extensive experience delivering sustainability initiatives within the construction or built environment sector.
• A Strategic Thinker - A professional who can balance ambitious sustainability objectives with commercial realities and programme demands.
• A Technical ESG Expert - Excellent knowledge of sustainable construction, environmental regulations, whole-life carbon, energy efficiency and recognised certification frameworks.
• An Exceptional Communicator - Someone who can confidently engage with stakeholders at every level and influence positive change across multidisciplinary teams.
